Derek Morris
As many of you will have heard, our dear friend Derek Morris passed away earlier in the week.
Our prayers and love are with Barbara and all the family at this time.
“Will your eyes behold through the morning light
the city of gold and the harbour bright?
Will you anchor safe by the heavenly shore,
when life’s storms are past forever more?
We have an anchor that keeps the soul
steadfast and sure while the billows roll,
fastened to the rock which cannot move,
grounded firm and deep in the Saviour’s love!”
Armed Forces Day 28 June 2026 Prayer
Lord, I pray that You remove every spirit of fear from military personnel.
Replace fear with courage and confidence in you.
Let them trust in Your presence and power at all times.
Fill their hearts with peace and assurance.
Help them stand strong and fearless in every situation.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

FLOWERS IN CHURCH
There is a new Flower Rota on the wall in the kitchen. If you would like to place some flowers in church to mark a special Sunday, please enter your name on the appropriate date on the calendar.
If you are unable to actually go and buy those flowers and arrange them in church, then this can be done for you. Please speak to an Elder.
