Pentecost 24th May (Whit Sunday) Service at 3pm,
The Community Service at 3pm, in Shaw this afternoon will be in the grounds of St James Church, or inside the church if it is raining.
We cannot have the service in the Memorial Gardens this year as there is a full Market taking place all day on Market Street.
AGM
AGM – Sunday 31st May The AGM is fast approach, as we head towards the end of May. If any Church Member is thinking about becoming an Elder, do please speak today to Caroline or an Elder and make your intentions heard. The meeting will be held during refreshments after the Service on the 31st of May. Therefore, leaving church on that day will not really be any later than normal.

FLOWERS IN CHURCH
There is a new Flower Rota on the wall in the kitchen. If you would like to place some flowers in church to mark a special Sunday, please enter your name on the appropriate date on the calendar.
If you are unable to actually go and buy those flowers and arrange them in church, then this can be done for you. Please speak to an Elder.

SHAW FOODBANK –
Is now independently run and not connected to Oldham Food Bank. It is run by Churches Together. We still need to support this movement as we usually do through our donations, which are very gratefully received.
