Lord God, here we are in your house,
ready to hear your word and ready to do your will.
Amen.
Thank you to everyone who supported our Quiz Evening.
There was much laughter, some good food and we raised £155 for church funds.
May Day
probably has Roman origins, emerging from the festival Floralia, a celebration of fertility and nature.
The most iconic expression of May Day is the May Pole.
Originally this was a large tree that was cut down and decorated with flowers, wreaths and ribbons.
The dance round it was an expression of the joy of new life.

FLOWER ROTA
The new rota is now in the kitchen on the wall next to the door.
If you would like to place some flowers in church on a particular Sunday, or several Sundays perhaps, please put your name against the relevant Sunday(s) date(s).
Lots of spare Sundays left yet to fill in. If you’re not able to buy the flowers and put them in a vase, just mention it to an Elder.
Heating System in Church
The radiators have been set at a specific setting to optimize the best control over the heat and our money.
Please do not change these settings at any time.
