Welcome to our Service this morning, which is led by Graham Heapy.
Please join us for refreshments after the service.
The Sunday after Easter, also known as the second Sunday of Easter,
is called Thomas Sunday or the Sunday of Saint Thomas,
because it commemorates the appearance of the resurrected Jesus to the apostle Thomas.
In the biblical account, Thomas initially doubted the reports of Jesus’ resurrection until he was able to see and touch Jesus’ wounds.
and highlights Thomas’s conversion from doubt to belief.
