A great crowd that was assembled for the festival heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem.
Taking palm branches they went out to meet him, shouting ‘Hosanna, Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord’.
Jesus was riding a young donkey, ‘see, your King comes seated on a donkey’s colt’.
The disciples didn’t understand.
The Pharisees said to each other, ‘This is getting us nowhere, the whole world has gone after him’.

FLOWERS IN CHURCH
There is a new Flower Rota on the wall in the kitchen. If you would like to place some flowers in church to mark a special Sunday, please enter your name on the appropriate date on the calendar.
If you are unable to actually go and buy those flowers and arrange them in church, then this can be done for you. Please speak to an Elder.
FIRE DRILL
In the event of a fire will you please leave by the nearest safest exit and assemble outside the fencing on Kershaw Street or outside the gates on Rochdale Road.
Playhouse 2 Golden Oldies Cinema, starts at 1pm, £5 includes refreshments.
